Should probably give it the context of what it's appearance is like, same thing happened for questions like where are you? What are you holding? Who's that behind you? etc etc

Your goal during the ideation phase of those workshops should be to output as many post its as possible in the given time. Output the bad ideas quickly and you'll move along to better ideas much faster when you're not humming and hawing over one post it. You have to be ok with looking slightly crazy however and not mind being linked to your poor ideas.

>I absolutely do not understand the need for 'web fonts'. Just specify a normal font that most users already have installed in CSS, with some fallbacks.
I suppose some people are happy with color: red, while others like a bit more variety and opt for color: #a82a33.

>I wasn't in trouble and I knew it.
A great feeling to have. I remember a similar teacher who could probably account for the death of ten trees every class with the reams of worksheets she'd hand out. Asked to speak to her before class to see if I could be moved as our 'teaching/learning' styles didn't link up. She refused to speak in private and insisted I spoke in front of another teacher she was chatting with at the time. Thanks, you've just given me an audience I thought. Was cheeky in the way I spoke, was sent to principal who was very straightforward in saying that this teacher was on her way out and his hands are tied to do anything about her. Asked me to apologize for the cheekiness (insincere apologies from teenagers? par for the course really) and then was happily moved to another class. But anyways, enjoyed that feeling of 'I know I'm not in trouble here'.

Google maps also changes the zoom level to the nearest integer. You can't do 12.5 for example. When I change the 10 on the google maps link in your comment to 10.5, it rounds it back down to 10 and rewrites the URL. Have ran into the issue before doing custom maps for sites where 14.5 would be the perfect zoom level, but can only pick 14 or 15 :(

>It worked best by "switching off the screen", i.e. typing without seeing what you type (either by literally switching off the screen, or by putting the font to same color as background
That's really interesting. Have written to get stuff out before but there is always the reading, writing, rereading, editing flow that kind of makes it a pain. Going to try 'switching off the screen' next time.

1. Take who the client is, think about how much I like the job, how technically hard it is, how long I'd be at it and the deadline they want and a few other variables then pick a figure from the air that seems good.
2. Word of mouth or chatting to people in person.
3. Fuck no. Faster for me to build a custom site than to wrangle with someone's theme that's been built for the lowest common denominator.
4. A good SEO setup is included in the cost, but I don't write the headlines, meta desc, etc. If I am, that's extra.
Agency for 2 years, Freelance for about 5 in total.
