How well have you thought this through? I have a lot of questions if they went this route.

Why are there no buyers as it is? Doing this would force lower margins for ASML, effectively knee-capping a Crown Jewel of European technology and business. Do you think the EU should subsidize those losses?

I’ve heard from an HSI friend that a lot more of the fentanyl deaths happen from accidental exposure in their drugs from shared surfaces. For example, somebody buying cocaine that was cut up on a table that was previously used to cut up fent and not properly sanitized.

My response was to your statement “Give me one actual reason why a smart person would take an underpaid overworked position at any of his companies.”

I hated seeing him do the “Roman” salute and will not try to defend it. I said nothing in favor of his politics or personality, only that his companies are ambitious. Seems like you may benefit from a few deep breaths before responding with attacks.

Also, the alternative technologies you propose are pretty weak comparisons as they are of a different classes.

It is possible to serve different markets with different agendas and have both of them serve nVidia’s business. Think of all the freemium software out there; widespread so everybody can use it, but the people who REALLY use it REALLY pay up.

Prrreeeeeach. Not quite on topic here, but when I started working at Big Co., they sent 3 weekly Teams invitations each for hula hooping and desk yoga sessions. That infuriated me to no end because I knew how ineffective so many of my new coworkers were there and that they were making more than some of my coworkers who were actually providing value. In retrospect, it shouldn’t have infuriated me because the people attending those people were probably having less of a negative impact doing that rather than re-opening a solved issue or whatever the fuck useless thing they were doing.

This sounds like an exhausting perspective on the world. I’d rather be hurt by assholes than never allow myself to be vulnerable with anybody. You can mitigate the potential downside without thinking everybody is out to get you or thinking everything is a power game.
