You don't need any Google stuff on it. Isolated Play Services is an option, so is Play Store. It's not installed ootb. I don't get why you'd prefer to run less secure options on hardware that isn't on par with Pixels or iPhones and expect to get a secure OS.

They all suffered from severe hardware issues that got never fixed.
Chromebook Pixel 2013 had that atrocious function key row that didn't align with the rest of the keyboard and where made of different material and had terrible travel. The Pixelbook had some terrible PWDM issues with the display and iirc it also had severe ghosting issues. Not to forget the cut in performance of these mobile fanless Intel chips because of Meltdown & Spectre. I think the Pixelbook's WiFi/Bluetooth module made by Intel also suffered from hardware faults where using Bluetooth could degrade WiFi performance and vice versa.

Having seen how people managed to run Cyberpunk 2077 on the Neo with okayish frame rates I don't think there's a single ARM laptop out there that could deliver that performance on Linux. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Which is nothing but ignorance and negligence in 2026. It's incredible to see so many science/rationalist folks still chugging along the nonsensical official narrative. You really have to be living under a big rock wearing blinders to even consider masking up again or getting experimental mRNA treatments.

If S3, EC2, EKS and RDB alone had a similar uptime as all of Github right now, we'd all know.
No one cares that much if repo wikis, commit stats or gist had these issues. It's the combination of inter-dependent services that are used in combination, like PRs, actions, discussions, etc.
If one were to build a single percentage for each of these components of both systems, github would still lose. Maybe it's a few days without outages more but this isn't a comparison.

This claim only works if you stick very closely to the western post WW2 narrative that is neither accurate nor robust enough to withstand a few hours of research.

After having supported activists in egypt during the arab spring I've come to learn that it's all just coopted regime change nonsense sprinkled with "feel good activism" for Westerners. No one in Egypt is even remotely better off now. Just let Iranians deal with this on their own. From what I've researched, our impression of what their lives are supposedly like is totally shaped by intelligence services and cointelpro media anyways so why bother to get involved. We'll only make things worse for the average Iranian.
