I only buy the bluray if I've already seen it and know I'd want to watch again when I receive it. Keeps me from collecting stuff that doesn't get watched.

I loop through the collection by putting a watched disc back in a separate spot until I've gone through them all and then start over.

I've been reconciling my transactions in GnuCash for 20 years, I've been pretty good at catching charges I don't expect.

I also set the credit cards to send me an email for any transaction over $1.

One issue I've run into with unexpected NSFW in my federated TL on a single user instance is when people I follow reply to an unfollowed account's NSFW post, when the reply gets sent to my server it fetches the parent post

They had a merger condition that resulted in "Connect by T-Mobile" and I went from paying $50 a month to $15 for roughly the same service.

When I opened my checking account at Bank of America I was issued a ordinary debit card. After a couple years they replaced it with one with a Visa logo. I argued with them on the phone long enough to get them to replace it with an ordinary debit card. After than one expired they did the same thing and I gave up. I haven't seen a debit card from any bank without visa or mc in a long time.

Sometimes the terminal will ask Debit or Credit, sometimes it will just prompt for a PIN (meaning it wants to run it as debit) and you can just hit OK and it will run it as credit instead.

You are allowed to say cooking oil spray is fat free because the 1/3 of a second of spray serving size allows you to round the fat value to zero.

I think people were surprised Google did the work to upgrade it to Android 13 but only did a couple months of patches for it. I think the old promise was 2 years of major os and an additional year of patches.

More accurate to say her car was blocked from using superchargers. Not ok, but she could use other chargers.
