OLED already works very well for TVs and other big screens; MicroLED would need to push into that market and prove its value against OLED. And OLED tech will not stand still while MicroLED catches up.
MicroLED needs market niches with lots of manufacturing volume to scale up and improve or they'll never get to a position where they can challenge OLED.

Food is parceled out so a small amount of food bank fraud creates a slightly smaller parcel for everyone, in the case where food is limited. If fraud rates are small, the cost to everyone is trivial; if fraud rates are zero, the costs get piled onto a few unfortunate souls who couldn't pass the test despite actually needing help.

I think the current title is mistaken, the twitter user isn't claiming he can't use the Apple TV, he's just saying the message appears.
I encountered the same message when iOS 16 had just released and wasn't available on my iPad yet. It wasn't a blocking message, pressing "OK" was enough to make it go away, and when iPadOS 16 finally came out I was able to clear it.
It's bad UX but the Apple TV can still be used as before.

The demand isn't being made to the product side; Discord and other chat clients already have a chat API which their clients authenticate and talk to, it's all already built and user-facing. They already distrust their clients. They already made everything a third party client would need.
It's a policy change, not a product change, and demanding a company adjust their bad policy is totally normal.

Those are certainly causal explanations for the data, but once those phenomena are here they impact people's expectations. Change in expectations is clearly what the author is focusing on.
For example, the emergence of the rust belt leaves a lot of unemployed men - the impacted parts of society won't continue to expect the same work ethic and commitment from their men 40-50 years later.

It's not trivial. But regardless, you're saying the hacker should submit data to Google and also answer a telephone call, both of which increase the risk of getting caught later. The aim should be to stop or mitigate the misuse of EDRs, not to cure the underlying problem of social engineering.

Let me have a go at objectively explaining the difference: America has a lot more political clout than Russia.
Under Putin, Russia's soft power has been decimated and they are left with misinformation, violence and resource starvation as their main tools to make others comply. A government like that will face much stronger pushback than a nation like America.
America is rightly criticized for its wars and its mistreatment of countries like Palestine but it has the political clout to absorb those criticisms and slow down their effect. When the criticisms eventually mount the government is forced to make changes, but this is slowed by soft power.
