Me too, I am on a Jetson Orion 64GB (about 50W max). Using the nvidia graphic cards for AI seem to be so power hungry that it was not a choice I could take with todays environmental problems.

I have a similar problem. My handicap makes it impossible to use the huge trackpad of all newer MacBooks. I am working still with a 2012 MacBook Pro that had a considerable smaller trackpad. Any idea from you guys how to circumvent these trackpad monsters? Thanks for any suggestion.

Signal stops supporting macOS 10.15 (Catalina) soon. This is fine and correct, since the 10.15 support by Apple has been stopped for a while too. My problem is, that I depend on an old MacBook Pro from 2012, because I am handicaped and all newer MacBooks have a too large trackpad for me (typing for me is not possible with these trackpads). I could install a current Linux distro on that Mac and get Signal that way, but for some software reasons this is currently not an option. An external keyboard/trackpad seems to be problematic as well. Do you guys have an idea how to circumvent that problem? Signal is my main communication tool and extremely important to me. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a similar Mac, a 2013er. I love that machine so much that I bought another, nearly the exact copy of it, a few years ago. Currently I can not imagine that I will need a better/newer Mac or another modern machine. However I am old/older now and had my share on "I need a new computer/laptop every few years".

Yep, same here too. Worked as a freelancer for 15 years with one company and now trying to find a new contract (with only a small network) is pretty hard (can only do remote jobs due to a handicap).

I agree. Nobody at any time promised anything. If you invested early, it was a high risk that the whole cryptocurrency could just have imploded and actually for many it did (BTC and Mt.Gox or lost wallets). Now a few years later it pays out for those who cared early about it. Congratulations for those.
