I always loved the 5x6 Pixel font in this classic 90s PC game:
https://covertaction.fandom.com/wiki/Cryptography_(Mini-Game...
The extra 1 pixel of height for the text in green, in particular, allowed for some cool "italic" styling, especially for letters like E, D, J, U, V

It's kind of like at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic when some in the US were saying that the US government should just forgive mortgage payments so the landlords could forgive everyone's rent. Instead the US government gave businesses loans so they could pay their employees (even though they weren't able to work) so those employees could then pay their rent and buy food, etc. It was (perceived to be) better to inject the money into the system to keep the current system running, rather than turn off / forgive the major parts of the system.

I hope this is a sign that this interview will be the one to work out!

Everyone's sensitivity to caffeine is different. For example, if I miss my one 8 oz. cup each morning, I have a massive headache by 1:15pm.
When work picks up, like a big project, I might increase my intake to a larger 12oz or 16 oz coffee per day, but then I'll end up sustaining that too long after the project ends.
After a while, I'll do a cold turkey reset to zero caffeine. It takes 4 days and about 800mg of Ibuprofen each day to make it through the headaches. Luckily no other withdrawal symptoms.
I have friends that only drink coffee on weekdays... I don't get how that can be done! For me, coffee is preventative medicine.

As a hiring manager, if I was on the fence, knowing someone I'm not thrilled with has an offer makes me try to figure out what I/we missed and I would reexamine potential gaps in our recruiting processes with the candidate, which are always wrought with biases. And luck is such a big factor (on both the company- and candidate-side) in getting a positive signal.

There's so much risk when joining a new company that it will turn out to be everything you're looking for, that when everything actually looks great in the first couple years, you may think you've found your final home! But it turns out, companies can adversely change under your feet and you can suddenly feel like you're in a rug-pull situation, and you find yourself looking again.
I thought my last job (joined pre-pandemic) really could have been my "forever job." My "work persona" was the closest to my actual self in my whole career. It was fun and exciting and the people were amazing! We worked on a great product, shipping features and solving challenging engineering problems, using the latest tech.
But the pandemic absolutely decimated their amazing culture. Company growth slowed, focus shifted to cost cutting, there were a couple of annual merit increase freezes, company policies were incrementally changed to be less generous (the number of company holidays were reduced, sick time was tracked separated from PTO, etc.). All the best people left for new jobs by that point, leaving behind, well... the people that couldn't leave. The culture bar wasn't upheld in hiring, and the company culture diluted further. The company that emerged at the beginning of 2023 was a mere shell of the company it once was and I had to leave.

I was at a coffee shop a couple weeks ago and I heard two guys going on about how the moon landing never could have happened because it seems impossible. They didn't have any supporting data. They just kept saying things like "all the footage looked so totally fake." My favorite was "and how did they even get back to Earth? I don't remember ever seeing video of then launching a rocket off the moon, do you?"
SMH
