I was using a similar one called Gmail Tabs by CloudHQ but they charge now $2 per month (How dare they! But honestly shoutout to them for doing it first \m/).

So like all geeks I used Gemini 3.0 AI Vibe Code to redo it in ~4 hours (initial build) and launched on Google Chrome Store! Also added tons of features like local backup/restore with json, automated tab colors, ultrafast response due to localized css and no remote load, etc - things I wished the CloudHQ guys had!

P.S. I got excited to do this also because I did another extension last year to just click "save" in Google AIStudio (when they didn't automatically save AIStudio chats!!). 4.5 Star Rating, 2.3k installs, 8k page views, 1.7k Weekly Active Users (as of Dec 2025). They have since fixed this but somehow I still have active users..

some things that still need to be done before v1 launch:

- easy data migration in and out (right now is a pain if its large volume of data from other DB eg firebase or sqlite!)

- API/programmatic setup of tables (right now its only via UI making it hard to setup large complex tables with variable permissions)

- Multi-instance: easiest is to have another pocketbase in "mirror" mode that it updates once a day or whatever with primary (primary > secondary method like in mongo is a great mechanism, with some kind of voting for primary)

Tldr: love pico 8 and needed something that runs it on iphones (can play between meetings or on travel!)

- Play on mobile for best experience

- Retro 8bit mobile emulator based on Pico-8 Fantasy Console with 500+ retro games (reimagined arcade favs)

- Pick your Virtual Cartrige from full list or gallery or Editors Picks (me!).

- Favorite the games you like (will persist on same device)

- Search “pico 8” on youtube and reddit/google to find games you like (should be there!)

- Offline - once game loads, works even on Airplane mode

- Persistent - can leave game in background tab and come back to it

- Virtual Gamepad - most efficient virtual gamepad design based on famous consoles

- on PC/Mac - recommend resizing browser window to mobile form factor (responsive) and use physical keyboard

iOS and Android apps coming soon! (This is a total labour of love so it will happen when it happens)

Issues: - sound on ios mobile browsers dont work when phone is in Focus or DoNotDisturb mode

I got tired of constantly googling "what time is it in [city]?" to schedule meetings with my remote team. I wanted a simple, at-a-glance view of everyone's local time, but I didn't want yet another cloud service or a heavy app for something so simple.

So, I built Team Timezone Wall with Cursor. Honestly its no feat of engineering or super complicated but solves once specific problem and has been my daily use tool for months now. Quite sticky!

For the self-hosting and privacy-minded folks here, the best part is its simplicity:

- It's a single index.html file. No dependencies, no build steps, no external scripts.

- Zero tracking and completely server-less. It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.

- Infinitely portable. You can host it yourself on any static web server, use it with file:///, or just pass the file around.

It's a small tool, but it solves a real headache for me without compromising on privacy or simplicity.
