Seeing as much of a virtual planet as possible costs $60 and it uses the same energy that isn't being used because the other thing costs thousands of dollars.

My hunch is that taxes are the most efficient 'charity', even with the bloat, and everyone's too busy sniffing farts in their corner to see it.

I've been running ad blockers for 15 years now at least, but I seem to recall really annoying pop-ups being a part of Internet advertising too, and they happen more than once per boot.

I read at one point that my oral allergy syndrome, my mild reaction to apples and other fruits, tends to be correlated with hay fever. It doesn't seem unreasonable for something similar to be afoot with peanuts.

Performing formalized risk assessments can provide you with insights about a risk you're thinking about taking. I think it helped me take the right risks and leave the workforce early.

Emotionally? Just* ignore them and pursue the thing that pays you the most. It's boring and it's unhealthy and it's hard and it's not romantic.

I was thinking about that. A site like that wouldn't meet all the tests of eligibility in the bill, but it would probably not meet the eligibility to be copyright exempt for one reason or another. That's as much as I've thought of that.

The thing at issue is not URLs, it is these sites' ability to pull and serve above the fold content. I think that's something the term "link tax" is obfuscating.

My experience with no code was it was so frustrating to work with that it was preferable to force as much as logic as possible into the database. You get pretty adept at whatever database software you're using, saying "that'd be expensive on this platform - you should settle for ", and sessions with platform support because somewhere along the way their platform stopped loading the files it saved.

I do think there needs to be fewer people who crumble when they have to write SQL so maybe it's not all bad.
