ragextract.com
A document RAG API based on multimodal embeddings that's intended for data extraction. If your document workflow involves search and you're looking for ways to cut down on VLM (OCR) costs, Ragextract provides a simpler alternative (less bells & whistles) which makes sense for startups, SMEs and freelancers.
As someone who works on AI document workflows, I use Ragextract myself to reliably execute for various clients in finance, insurance and proptech. I'm currently working on marketing/messaging for the service and could do with more feedback and use-cases.
Have a new or existing project which could use something like Ragextract? Email me and if there's a fit happy to provide a demo or free subscription.
Learn more here: https://subworkflow.ai/blog/ragextract/introducing-ragextrac...

Currently bootstrapping Ragextract.com - the project scratched an itch, has customers and runs on autopilot in its v1 state. I'm looking to get back into contract/consulting work to help startups/SMEs with building and launching digital products. Hands-on work preferred!

I've been playing around with clustering text embeddings to find similar groups of things.
Grouping similar things is useful because:

\* For your user surveys, quickly find similar answers to group participants and find personas
\* For your reviews, quickly group customers who have similar complaints to spot issues early
\* For community comments, figure what the heck everyone else is saying before adding your own informed opinion

I built 3 demos as n8n workflow templates which show you how to do this:

 (1) https://n8n.io/workflows/2372-survey-insights-with-qdrant-python-and-information-extractor/
 (2) https://n8n.io/workflows/2373-customer-insights-with-qdrant-python-and-information-extractor/
 (3) https://n8n.io/workflows/2374-community-insights-using-qdrant-python-and-information-extractor/

I had a lot of fun building these use-cases and I hope you find them useful. Let me know what you think!
Jim Le

I recently released 20+ AI-focused, source-available, prompt-available, templates for free which I feel could be of great interest to this community.
Note: If you don't use n8n, no worries; the ideas, approaches and logic are definitely transferrable to other implementations.
You can find the public collection here: https://n8n.io/creators/jimleuk/
Inspiration for many of these templates have been from the flood of AI startups selling simple prompts and/or basic RAG apps.
Some of my favourites include:

 - Automate Your RPF Process with OpenAI Assistants
 - Actioning Your Meeting Next Steps using Transcripts and AI
 - Handling Appointment Leads and Follow-up With Twilio, Cal.com and AI
 - Breakdown Documents into Study Notes using Templating MistralAI and Qdrant
 - Build Your Own Image Search Using AI Object Detection, CDN and ElasticSearch

This is my small contribution to the emerging world of AI product dev - examples to hopefully inspire and towards making the leap!
Would love any feedback and to connect with fellow devs working in with AI products.

Bit of a controversial opinion (since we are on a programmer's forum) but if you just want to soley focus on the "AI" part and not get bogged down by the code, use a no-code tool like flowise (https://flowiseai.com/) or even better, n8n (https://n8n.io). You will create 100x more successful "showcase-able" AI experiments in the same time it'll take to spin up one from scratch - and guaranteed to have a lot more fun doing so!
Some inspiration here: https://n8n.io/workflows/?categories=AI
I've been creating both experimental and paid AI workflows in n8n since May. Happy to walk you through how to get started.
