for back in the day this knight had pretty decent 3D perspective rendering skills I mean you can knock the chair but there are a lot worse illustrations and devotional art from the time.

ShareX has been around for ever but just updated the UI and now super easy to do capture work with annotations and cam output etc (no studio but it's light weight)

btw I use OBS virtual camera its one of my fav features with masking etc for a video avatar vlogger effect

tldraw has a lot of programmatic access I have not compared it to excalidraw but there is still no equivalence between the model capabilities to build amazingly detailed infographics and diagraming tool use which is a gap I hope will narrow

apparently big labs are also pitching profit sharing arrangements to biopharma companies in exchange for privileged access to the top internal above-the-api capability models .... repeat this in every industrial vertical and it could turn out that much denied Dario claim may as well have been true for all intents and purposes

not sure how this is innovative they show the System-1 model can play Doom right in the announcement [1] :

IEEE Spectrum is such a good publication. Early in my career I worked at a place where the magazine would be passed around every month with a coversheet listing all us engineers we had to pass it around and sign we had read it. Been a while since I visited the website but love what they did with it.

the latest Google Translate features based on the all voice real-time 3.5 Live model is as good as I have tried in Live Modes it's not perfect but I can put it down on a table of four or five people conversing and get a reasonable amount of it translated into my earpiece.

Years ago, I worked on some equipment from a company called Acme Packet that made Session Border Controllers for the telco IP voice space and was just trying to remember why they called it ACME and it's interesting to trace the history of the term from the classical Greek (Apex) to the pejorative "A Company Making Everything".
