What about potential employees, can they look? The local community that consents to let the company build and operate in their town? How does that help, if they don't follow have to follow GAAP anyway?

This is an interesting anomaly in the US. In the civilised world all corporations have to file public accounts, as the price for their limited liability. The detail and audit requirements depend on the size, turnover, staff numbers etc. This is because the shareholders are not the only stakeholder. The companies creditors, for instance, who are exposed to the limited liability have a right to see what they are lending to.
To answer the sibling comment, all of these public accounts follow local GAAP or IFRS.
The US still astounds me with its willingness to allow corporations to rip people off!

Would you choose the weapons, armour and tactics as described in the Iliad? Even though it is thought they are inaccurate for the time period that they think the Iliad is set? Not so easy I would say.
And the extra you describe, where does he appear on screen? Front and centre, or in the fourth rank behind the people in better costumes?
And the longboat, does it appear on screen in its original form, or with additions to make it look more period accurate?

Baofengs also have terrible receive filtering. It is perfectly possible to hear no stations because you are being overloaded by something on another frequency. I tried my first SOTA activation with a Boafeng. A transmitter on another hill meant I received nothing, although stains could hear me. By a Yaesu, still cheap

Being told to eat shit has been typical of most of my experience of trying to get normies to understand my mild nuerodiversity.
My slightly more serious experience is that in my late 20s I started getting digestive problems and gaining weight. I feel like my neurodiversity got worse, but that could easily be that environmental factors exposed it.
How does one take advantage of a study like this? I would be difficult to get medically sanctioned poo right now. So what can I do? Coprophilia seems high risk.
I mean I can eat Kimchi and oats, but that seems more about encouraging the bugs that are already there than replacing missing bugs. Are we close to over the counter poo pills?

Well I have some evidence to support your hypothesis. During Covid my kids were at home, eventually with some kind of self learning website from school. I was upstairs working, checking in with progress on the parents app. Finish your daily school work and then you can game.
The kids learnt all about Team Fortress 2, Roblox, Rainbow Six etc. They also learnt how to game the learning system so it looked like they were doing their work.

Seriously, Audible used nearly 20GB of data in a day, while not being used. I listened to a downloaded book in the morning. Left my phone on my desk. Picked it up later to find warnings from my phone company about data usage. The phones usage monitor says it was Audible. Of course they don't care. Won't even raise a bug report!

Serious question
Were these trees ever profitable? If the true cost of water resources were added?
If the true cost of picking them with US workers were paid?
Any other subsidy?
In my country there is a farm lobby too, but they rather look after the massive agribusiness at the expense of small farms. Is that the case in the US?
I have never seen a californian peach orchard (I have read Grapes of Wrath, if that counts!), are they a similar environmental disaster to the almond monoculture?
