I've heard from a person that they like purposefully slam the door (not pull the handle down and close it silently) in order to alert other people that someone walked in/out. Is that not abnormal?

Thanks! Does that mean that you're only able to work in a very specific environment?
I'm considering ordering a new laptop, and am very sad to think that i won't be able to use its laptop/portable functionality, since more than 30 mins without a special keyboard results in pain.

Today is the first day that I had to admit to myself that I'm not capable of finishing any work, because of my forearm pain.
I'm glad to be at a point where I realise that it's only that - for about two years I thought i began to hate coding and any computer related work. Looking back i now realise that was me rationalizing my forearm pain.
I have a difficult time accepting that this will be like this forever. I'm optimistic that there's a way to significantly reduce the pain, without surgery.
What is your experience?

Feels like an accurate hourly rain forecast is not too much to ask for in 2021.
Why is it that it's sometimes off by a whole day?
Is it lack of computing power? Unsophisticated models? Is it that the "measuring stations" are in specific locations, and you can't really generalize that to the whole city? Will we ever get to an accurate hourly (minute?) rain forecast?

Right, ok. So, SouthPark's parent company has to pay for being able to stream the original, English version on their website? (just clarifying what distribution rights means in this case)
Is there any way to justify such practice, from a utilitarian perspective of a net-benefit for society?

Feel free to finish the probable-manager's sentence: "No, we should make it German only, because..."
It's a general question about the reasons behind original providers limiting user's choice. Feel free to use other platforms and countries.
