(full disclosure, i work as an engineer at coursera)
just wanted to highlight that one of the degrees that UIUC (University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign) offers, the Master of Computer Science in Data Science, is available on Coursera: https://www.coursera.org/degrees/masters-in-computer-data-sc...
the benefit of this is that the way we structure our degrees, they mostly end up being a collection of courses and specializations already provided on the platform; you can try some of the courses without having to go all-in on the degree just yet. (of course, there's a ton of added benefits for enrolling in the degree program, like high-engagement learning opportunities that you don't normally get from the MOOC experience)

digging through some of the events we can hook on to here: http://developer.github.com/webhooks/#events, i noticed the `gollum` event, which is triggered whenever a wiki page gets updated. i'm curious why its named that?

I like having the flexibility of being able to use Firebase's servers or my own, makes it easy to use for completely client-side apps, or alternatively you can throw it on top of a server-side application. Great work guys!

Just moved our app live on dotCloud, dashboard made things super easy to manage. Its nice that the CLI and the Dashboard share an API, sometimes it good to be able to get things done via the command line, and sometimes better to visualize graphs and sort through logs via the web. Keep up the good work!

Last year's pycon was great, hearing pg, stormy peters, david beazley and the benevolent guido talk was a great experience, especially for someone who is still in school like I am. In fact, I'm wearing the pycon t-shirt right now!
