Check out the Cirrus Autoland feature in their aircraft. They are all small personal aircraft, but the tech is pretty cool. Will talk to ATC and fully auto-land for you in the event of an emergency where the pilot is incapacitated.

About me: I'm a solidly mid-senior level software engineer with an unusual and impressive background. I am highly proficient in Ruby, Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js, SQL, and many other technologies (see my resume). I'm glad to see big steps towards this.

The demand for Ruby developers is higher than the supply.

You think it's bad now, imagine 5 years from now. This version of Copilot is just the beginning. Will you care about skill rot when everyone else around you knows the skills to effectively use the new generative AI models and is producing 5x?

I'm guessing the money Reddit will make from monetizing their API will much more than outweigh the losses.
