I was an employee in 2024 and I was not “screwed”. My options were converted into cash at the same valuation that Google paid (vesting schedule remained intact though). Noam did right by his employees.

The task can fetch up to date data, then make changes to the site and redeploy. Alternatively, if you make the site full-stack, and use the provided DB, the task can update your site by writing to the db directly or by calling an API endpoint on your site.

We can't expect everyone to be an expert on the hundreds of apps/tools/packages that get installed on a machine.
