The terms "board game" and "tabletop game" are considered pretty much interchangable by the vast majority of hobby board gamers, "board game" just tends to be the default. There's no requirement for a board game to have a board. BGG is full of card games, tabletop RPGs, dexterity games like jenga, junk art etc - none of which have boards

I think you misread it. The context was, _not low_ (ie. high) for the average person. For someone with a higher than average wealth however, £5k isn't all that much, especially if it could potentially protect the value of their assets

For most games you _don't_ study a manual for hours. Of course there are some crazy epic games for really hardcore gamers, but rule books for mid-weight game tend to take 5-15 minutes to read through and then you're ready to play, and a lot of people enjoy that time - familiarising yourself with something new, trying to understand what makes it tick. I personally find it an enjoyable ritual. Depending on the quality of the rules / complexity of the game, the first play through might be a bit ropey, but it's usually fine, and after that you're left with something that you can get hours and hours of fun from. Board games are awesome

Another consequence of this is that there's no way to share a specific "slide", which is a shame because there's an example about 2/3s of the way down that's really cool but there's no simple way to send anyone straight to it

Is making that button clickable the solution here? Presumably the text is there to inform the user that they proceed by clicking on the arrow in the corner. Letting them proceed by clicking the arrow would just mean they didn't know what to do next, wouldn't it?
I did the same, tried to click it, and had to look around to find what I was actually supposed to click on. Maybe the better solution would be to make it clearer where to find the correct button?

I guess it would depend on what you're looking to get out of your car.
I only open the door twice - once to get in, once to get out - so a small nuisance like being harder to open wouldn't bother me as it's only a fraction of the time spent engaging with the car. However I have family members with terrible arthiritis who struggle opening car doors anyway, so it'd definitely be a factor for them.
I'm also not typically in a rush when I'm driving, so if the car is a little slower that doesn't bother me as much as whether I'm comfortable and enjoying the drive. Or even if the car was no more comfortable, but just looked better, I might actually feel some pride in it and that would give me a lift and result in an improvement to my mood. If my goal was to get from A-B as fast as possible though, then it absolutely would bother me.

I've noticed that a lot of my daughters friends put on American accents when they're playing; we're in the UK, so presumably they just watch a lot of american tv. I don't think it's particularly alarming though, I wouldn't think to warn someone to 'be careful' of letting their kids watch My Little Pony because they might imitate the accents
