As a seller, how much do I value a certain payout today? It's at least a few % points.

As a buyer, how much do I value a property which has been "Approved" and been fixed up? Again at least a few % points.

They can easily get a 5% margin, if not closer to 10% (especially if they do value-add improvements)

Then it is just about managing inventory, and not being overly exposed during a downturn - however depending on how their capital is structured are there is the opportunity to rent until it can be sold.

The exception to this rule is obviously for a platform like Patreon, where it is about the relationship.

Require the same developer registration process as they currently do for iOS apps. Then require some apple provided javascript to provide access to these needed functions. App review as before.

At that point they can do interesting things: charge per 1000 installs, enforce the use of apple pay. They can operate a business model that is slightly different, but the same at its core - tax developers for access to their user base/platform.

So there is an example of how something like this could work - if you have the assets to leverage. I think the obvious risks can be easily mitigated with safe-guards around selling assets and debt limits.

If you are flying there is a need to book a hotel to deliver the same experience of being in LA/SF at 7am refreshed.

That is the "free money" in the model, people can exchange sleep in a hotel for a sleep on a bus with pretty much the same outcome.
