One thing that’s incorrect in the article:

SB 684 only works on multifamily-zoned lots, but starting in July, it’s getting replaced by SB 1123, which works on “vacant or uninhabitable” single-family lots

There’s been evidence recently that GLP-1 Agonists can delay the onset of Alzheimer's symptoms. Look up the evoke and evoke+ trials. This might be the first “real” treatment for Alzheimer’s, and it’s relatively low risk.

A number of comments are recommending using various services relying on OpenAI's API, but I really don't think Sidney is based on davinci-003. Sidney has a level of coherence and "emotion" that appears to be far beyond normal GPT3, and I don't think you'd get that out of rule prompting, reinforcement learning, or finetuning parameters.

We originally launched the Mira Prism in this market in 2017 before pivoting to enterprise. https://www.mirareality.com/

It looks like they have much better software than we had at launch, though.

The experience for phone-based headsets is really pretty good. The issue is that it’s a really hard sell for consumers at that price point for seemingly a piece of plastic, and the price point is necessary for the optics unless you have massive volume. The other issue is of course the bulky form factor.

I think part of the point of the movie was that EVERY character was a psychopath who prioritized their own interests over what would be true or best, and that scene shows that she’s not exempt from that

Yes, burning methane converts it to CO2, which is much less harmful of a greenhouse gas
