After being a user of languages for a long time, writing my own LISP was the experience of leaving Platons cave and seeing what the thing I use daily really is made of. What is "if"? What is a boolean, a variable, a function?
It's a beautiful thing. I wish I would never have to climb down into the cave (languages with more advanced parsers) again.

Would it not be more likely that we Scandinavians would have to use the mainstream system? I'm not Norwegian, but my nation Sweden does this similarly.
If we accept giving our internal revenue services to the EU, I very much doubt that we will be able to keep this sort of thing, such as the principle of things being public (sv: offentlighetsprincipen).
For reasons like this (giving up what is unique about our culture for the mainstream continental one) I can't help but be sceptic of further involvement with European political unity, and am anticipating that Brits of 10 years from now will be satisfied with their decision to leave.

What is the simple way for the Chinese government to find the root cause of muslim terrorism and fix it? The only simple fix (as in simple vs easy) would be genocide or giving them their own independent state. The first option is horrible, and the second is not in the interest of the Chinese gov.

City Planning software is something I've been humming over a lot and for a long time. It's a perfect problem for computation with statistics - figure out practical actionable things for cities to do when optimising for things like walkability, public transit available, available storefront-rentals, et cetera. The world is catching up on the western nations, and the millions of cities joining the global middle class can be billions of dollars more efficient. A true way to better the world. The computational parts are doable (I'll be tech cofounder if required - not a visual artist though) but how is it best used?
