I can imagine a few maintainers might appreciate that ability (https://github.com/expressjs/express/pulls?q=is%3Apr%20is%3A...).

As a 20-something the writer wouldn't have even been a teenager yet when what was regarded as the golden era of second-hand ThinkPads was in swing.
>It’s rare for those teams of people to survive buyouts by foreign companies with their agency and independence intact.
ThinkPad enthusiasts were very vocal about how the Lenovo takeover impaired their later designs (200 and onwards).
I've always found it amusing to see the modern wave of people hyping ThinkPads as recent as the t480; which I've known greybeards to consider having no more in common with a "true" ThinkPad than name and colour scheme.

Do you ever find it "updated" to the snap version? I have Ubuntu on my work laptop and every so often after an update Firefox will suddenly be the snap version and I'll have to reinstall it.

When you put it that way it reminds me of the Severn/Keats character in the Hyperion Cantos. Far-future AIs reconstruct historical figures from their writings in an attempt to gain philosophical insights.

I opened my outlook android app today to find they'd replaced the archive button in the bottom toolbar with a "Summary by Copilot" one. It wasn't enough that the only colourful button is the Copilot one on the right.
Thankfully they still let you reorder the buttons, so I moved archive back and hid that unwanted summary in the overflow menu.

It's what I most miss from using windows. It handles tabs, theming and renaming of windows so well. Being able to tell at a glance what each window is connected to, it's purpose etc is very handy for me.

Very common in education/research systems. Even the things which are containerised often have conda in them.

I find Foxit Reader good for signing. You can also easily disable all the internet based "features" in the settings which I appreciate.
