Do guardrails trigger from euphemisms or backwards words? Maybe the language wouldn’t have to be outright deplorable as long as it triggers the guardrails.

I think that’s more a sign of their priorities. Controlling AI doesn’t increase value, so there is no incentive.

Why are you allowing your LLM to consume instructions controlled by a third party? Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Blaming the voters for being uneducated is distracting from the fact that the neoliberal consensus is what the voters are rejecting. I’ve been listening to variations of “there is no alternative” as the explanation for austerity for over 2 decades now while the 1% grows fatter. The left needs to stop playing by the rules of the neoliberals and start painting a better future than cuts after cuts.

Unfortunately those are also better discussed with LLMs.

I recently had to refresh on some algorithms and some manual coding for an interview where using LLM is forbidden. It was super fun, I forgot how fun solving software puzzles can be!

It’s unfortunate our industry has become so boring. Because our society values capital above all else, quitting my job to do something fun would relegate me to economical loser status. We really need a shift to the left in politics and a way to redistribute the productivity gains this technology allows.

That’s an insecure design. The way we do it here is that you install an app and register your register number and payment card in it. Then when you drive in and out from the parking lot your license plate is scanned and you’re automatically charged. There’s only two providers so it’s not a huge hassle, if there was a single app per garage it would not really work from UX perspective.

No room for hostile social engineering.
