Defense/military is one of the few government functions that libertarians endorse as totally necessary. To many, it's the only legitimate government function.

It's the right direction of course but the concurrent release with Harvard sort of opens them up to antitrust probe tbh. Clearly the admission offices are all synchronizing policy in backchannels (or frontchannels).

It's not pure chance. It was a plane error, but trained pilots following procedure would have responded appropriately and avoided a crash. In response to a plane malfunction, the pilots panicked, did the wrong thing, and everyone died.

This does not excuse Boeing, but it's just the way it is. Training standards are higher in the US than, for example, Ethiopian airlines.

Look this sounds really good on the internet, but this is disconnected from reality.

The kids chronically truant are POOR and have no structural support at home. They are not depressed upper-middle-class-kids. The more-informed (albeit misinformed) demographic you're describing is not the problem.
