monity.ai - set a URL and a prompt to get alerted on changes (price drops, restocks, or competitor updates). Built to replace messy browser extensions and custom scrapers.

That looks great - I need to give it a try in my free time. Bot protections are obviously the biggest pain point and make these kind of autmations less reliable. We’re facing the same issues at monity.ai, and it requires constant work on improvements. Currently, we use headful Camoufox + residential proxies (cheap or more robust depending on the plan), and the results are pretty good.

Yesterday, everything kind of exploded for us at monity.ai.
We were accepted into the Google Cloud Startups program, hit #1 on Fazier.com, and ended up on the Indie Hackers homepage - all within the same 24 hours.
Monity is an AI-powered site monitoring tool. What makes it different is the agent system - users can define what should be tracked (text, layout, pricing, etc.) and prompt it with natural language like “let me know if this competitor changes anything about their pricing plan.”
This was unexpected momentum for us, and it raised some good questions: what should we focus on now — growth, deeper AI features, integrations? What’s the best way to handle this kind of early visibility?
I'm sharing here because the HN community has helped us shape a lot of our early thinking. If anyone has thoughts, feedback, or questions — I'm all ears.

I’ve been testing various website monitoring tools, some work okay, but I’ve found issues with reliability, especially on pages that rely heavily on JavaScript. Others miss changes or send noisy alerts.
So I’m wondering:
What tool are you currently using that actually works well enough to justify a subscription?
I’m looking for something that:
- Accurately detects real changes (not just layout shifts or noise),
- Can handle JS-heavy or dynamic sites,
- Supports element-level tracking,
- Ideally has a usable free tier, but I’m fine paying if it’s worth it.
Curious what’s been working for others. Bonus points if it’s actively maintained and has solid alerting (email/webhooks/etc).
Thanks
