I've been building on Laravel for some years now and I'm always delighted how you can just ctrl+click and see the internals (and the magic). They're pretty modular and extensible/overridable.

Finding the right people has made entrepreneurship bearable for me. And I didn't find those right people on my first attempt either.

Staying disciplined for years is so much easier when you have competent and compassionate cofounders with you. You might even get away with a few vacations.

I'll add a +1 to managed database product. We've migrated all workloads except main application servers to Hetzner. Having a managed DB service (with backups, point-in-time recovery, etc) would have us quitting AWS in an instant.

Consciousness is inherently temporal. Our "AI-s" should not be prompt-based, but have an event loop which is always "thinking" about the things that are encoded in it, inputs it's currently receiving, and previous inputs it has received so far.

Can confirm. Mine is 1.63% + 6mo euribor rate (which was just raised over 0%). When you have the future possibility of 5% mortages, people will think twice about buying the currently expensive real assets.

On the other hand - can't say that real estate is exactly overvalued - recently they've been driven by rising construction and material costs.

With monospaced fonts, as used in programming, the ligatures take up 2 or more "spaces", but the special characters only take up one space. Thus, they are quite easily distinguished, for me.
