Trump won because he has lied and manipulated a population of idiots. They have managed to create a situation where they can say whatever they want and still get support.
That much is clear to everyone outside of the US. And we don't want any more of your culture over here thank you very much.
No one is debating whether or not increasing efficiency or reducing government is a good or bad thing. It is the way it's being done we take issue with. It's as close to 1930's Germany as you can imagine.

That's why you should probably never expect "perfect" from the finished product but rather a "iteration x" instead.
The articles adresses scope creep. You were asked for a drawing, but ended up with a cartoon "because they process just took me down that road". The deadline is helpful is limiting what the first/second/x'th iteration can be expected to do.

I have reverted back to owning movie-media again.
I like watching movies, and thus, I have watched a lot. When I try to find a movie to watch on HBO/Netflix (I'm from Scandinavia - not the same selection as in the US), I have a hard time finding something to watch. A lot of newer movies doesn't cater to my taste.
On the other hand, I can find a lot of classics from the 80s/90s/00s and even 10s in thriftstores for as little as 1-3$. I then get to keep the movies, that I often end up rewatching, and I get the added features mentioned in the article.
I'm not to nostalgic about the cases, which I often just dump (I have considered keeping the fact-sheets though, just not the plastic casing).
I'll soon cancel my remaining subscriptions, and only purchase them a month at a time when something I truly want to watch arrives...

You're wrong. Factually wrong. Plenty of smaller companies deliver parts and services to the European car industry. Here in Denmark, Danfoss had to fire 200 people because of Volkswagens decline.
Buying a chinese car means that you directly support the chinese regime, and that you directly undermine a "local" European competitor.
But if you're fine with that, and you just want the "biggest car for the least amount of money", you do you.

Are people willing to gamble on long-term economic growth and prosperity (locally) by buying a chinese car for the individual, personal savings/value?
I can't help but feel this is a very shortsighted strategy for buyers. The world is pretty unstable at the moment, and throwing a huge industry in the hands of China for the sake of getting a cheaper/bigger ("I want MORE for LESS") car, seems awfully risky.
It also seems to be in direct contradiction with the whole nationalist agenda that is sweeping across the west these days...

Morally, caring is the only option.
To many people don't value values or morals, and only prioritize their own experiences. I find it hard to maintain relationships with people who only talk about their career, business and consumption, as it is hard to have any kind of discussion about "we COULD, but SHOULD we" in regards to purchasing the latest car, iphone, a new house etc.
