How do you manage display sharing using it? Another device? I have a bunch of refurb servers, which I'd like to keep access to not waiting for an engineer to visit it. The budget is tight so proper KVM is not an option.

They are not receiving any benefits. They are not legal literally. Work for cash. No safety net except peers who are often abusive. There are lot of this in EU, just not this visible.

This is not legal to sell a finished product which has a license time bomb, I suppose.

Google and Apple can change the future set but they do not brick the device which was discussed and it works as advertised at the moment of purchase.

In EU you have the right to use bundled software as long as you own the appliance. Not sure this is true for US.

It can be actually hidden only paired with an HTTPS server, since CT new certificate logs entries are pretty strong indicator that a host deserves to be "visited".

It's changes the data flow. Transit connections are magnitudes expensive than local exchanges, and you can even connect to neighborhood country exchanges on lower prices than serve all TikTok through Ams/Fra. Since VPN is encrypted you can't reroute its content by your rules.

Also mentioned here, larger corps have local caches which unloads transit significantly. Google does this for YouTube everywhere.

They do not benefit from having control, they risk if they don't. This is fundamental.

I do love freedom but such freedom will come with a disclaimer. You do want to use a bank app unsigned and you do not want the bank to check your latest SIM card replacement. You understand and assess the risk and will not discriminate the bank for any loss occurred. Same with Netflix and piracy.

This is fair.

VSCode has the best copilot integration, but I found that Zed can perfectly use my subscription too, with even better results and endless "are you still here?"

They don't support Grok yet, though. It starts from a small "x", and it is ruined the deserialization. So could be a chance the pull request will miss "free trial" deadline for Grok Fast in Copilot, for this particular case.

Directus is not eternal either. They are OSS, but you can't support it yourself forever. For a such a long run this looks like a controversial choice for me.

Copilot has it in preview. I found it looks deeper on devops tasks in the Agent mode. But context matters, you should include everything and it will push. Now I switch between Cloude and Gemini when one of them starts going circles. Gemini certainly could have more context but Copilot clearly limits it. Didn't try with Studio key though, only default settings.

That will ruin the stocks. No need to use back doors, court order is pretty easy to get especially if the site in question is true malicious.
