If you are reading this, thank you.
Thank you PG.
Thank you Jessica.
Thank you YC.
Thank you to the devs and mods over the years.
I have been coming here everyday for 10+ years (god maybe even 20?) and it makes me feel alive, makes me feel like building and shipping more to keep up with this amazing community.
There is a lot of hate and snark sometimes, but it's all good.
Keep going, and thank you.
Thank you for daily inspiration and the fire to build something that you all think is cool and useful.
Much love,
Kent from Canada.

Is there a rule against posting crypto / web3 links or is the HN community allergic to it?
I’ve been building in web3 / crypto for years now and think the depth of social and technical problems are super interesting.
Lots of other places to post but curious why no / very few crypto links here.

We are Web3 company with a good battery of automated tests, but doing end to end testing in Web3 with different wallets, waiting for transactions to confirm is a tough problem to solve.
I am looking for a local or outsourced team that can take on end to end testing, and potentially some exploratory (try and break this) testing.
https://testlio.com/ seems to be the front-runner from some of my research and looking at reviews but would love to support a YC company, or that ethos.
Anyone have any recommendations or building something like this?

I am torn. I am master level Rails and advanced beginner React / Next from my time at Tilt back in 2014-2015.
When in doubt, I go to Rails but can't decide if I am just comfortable and holding onto the past, or if it's because ActiveRecord and the opinionated nature of it, is still so good.
How are you all thinking in 2023? I know there is no answer, but I would love to know what others think.
To sharpen, I am more curious about the following dimensions:
* Hiring
* Maintainability
* Community
Less worried about technical aspects, as in my experience those are rarely the things that make or break a project / app.
Also, I know I can build a Rails backend, and then go React on the front-end, might happen, but if I go Rails, I might go full Turbo etc.
Thank you!
