<p>It's mostly appetite suppressing. Affects the perception of hunger and the brain/reward function of eating, which must also be part of what also helps for drug and alcohol addiction.<p>It IME doesn't act like an anti-depressant/SSRI which <i>can</i> affect your enthusiasm/desire for your job.<p>Absolutely life changing drug for me.</p>

<p>I read that they will technically be on payroll until late March. If that's the case, it's not so much accelerated vesting as it is vesting while not being "employed".<p>So same result, to some extent.</p>

<p>They still have their equity grants that will vest each quarter as they would before. The difference is they are vesting a cash value equal to the price-per-share of when it was bought.<p>If you happen to be hitting your cliff soon, that is the only case you might be going down to base only.</p>
