I've seen this several times now. Disturbing.
IMO, LLMs will be a dead end to anything close to AGI because of this and hallucinations.
We're missing something in the mix, which I suspect is some kind of advanced JEPA model.

I've long theorized that if a hot war with China happened, the US would get beaten up very badly, at first.
Likely burning through stockpiles of weapons (obvious now), plus not do well against modern drone warfare and a China that can pump out drastically more weapons, ships, etc.
Would we likely get our act together? I don't even know anymore. But it would not go well in the beginning.

Yup, I call it a cartoonish view of the world.
I think so many in power now, including lots of people in tech, have bonkers, cartoonish views of the world that just don't map to the reality and complexities of the 21st century. Scary stuff.

I'll offer another antidote. Every single place I have ever worked at that had such retreats had a big layoff within ~6 months.
It's like the CEO or execs see there are a lot of problems and think this will magically fix all the "issues". It doesn't, so they turn to the next solution. Just fire a bunch of staff and start over.
