Apparently it's deleting the likes, i.e. the people won't see the coloured heart anymore after some time and have to re-like. Might be platfrom issues of course, "eventually consistent" or something like that :)

Is Twitter actively deleting likes, or is this some problem with the platform not being able to scale?

What is PoC? Isn't white a color? Or a "ethnicity" :) Apparently not.
It's funny that some people want to treat people differently based solely on their skin colour. Or are they claiming there are other differences at play, that are mainly noticeable through the skin color?
Does "diversity" mean differences in skin color?

Musk is clearly in the wrong here (absent any lies in the twitter document, which I would find very unlikely).
Musk is acting like a spoiled child. Let's see what happens when a man with infinite resources tries to get what he wants. Has the court system enough muscle to handle this (i.e. Musk hasn't too many "bought" sympathizers in the system).

Easier to just go to the army. Where I live we have mandatory service, and it was very educational and eyeopening. Got to meet a lot of people outside my "bubble" (middle upper class, great parents etc., "smart"/educated, technical). Turns out, even though I might have found "them" obnoxious in theory before, they were actually often great and smart people, just "different". Also the normal share of assholes of course (but surprisingly few, if you got to know them!), but you learn to deal with them :) Even the criminals there (straight from jail to the army) were kind of normal people, just from bad circumstances.

How would this help?
Let's say that I find it annoying when people "missbehave", like people letting their dogs shit wherever and not cleaning up, or just commonly being selfish and rude.
How do I now understand myself better? Is the point that the problem is somehow in me or what does this advice mean?

He actually has outlined exactly what's wrong with these ideas. I mean the hyperloop was supposed to be "like an air hockey table", well guess what, musk now "advocates for wheels"... It's just a really bad and unworkable idea. The idea of 1000km long vacuum tubes is beyond stupid, when we already have high speed rail.
Please tell me how stating these facts are "small minded" or "pessimistic".
His main point is usually about the massive unwarranted hype and blind hero worship around these concepts, and usually scams (the water stuff and other kickstarter projects).
The truth hurts, I guess.

Why is it considered "all or nothing" when discussing NATO involvement?
NATO has been known to defend (or "defend", take your pick) multiple non-NATO countries in the past, no total war started.
So if NATO put troops in ukraine to just defend it (not attacking pro-actively russian forces or territories), what would happen?
Is the scare now that Putin is so mad that he would immediately start nuking random NATO cities around the world if that happened?

Why can't the western nations seaze all assets of the oligarchs. For example take their super yachts and drive them out to sea and blow them up as a symbolic gesture?
Take control of all their appartments etc. Drive all russians out of their countries (yes it will hurt "normal" russians but so what, this is war, maybe they would start to think about their leaders a little bit more).

It won't. They haven't been able to get costs down in 10 years now, actually they have gone up.
And reusability has its own problems, like lowering the amount of payload by 25% (you need to save fuel for re-entry).
You can maybe get 10-20% savings if you ever get it working (see previous failed attempts...).
NOT Musk promised 100x price reduction for launches, that will never happen.

"No inheritance - no more digging through the massive world-tree of objects to find the code that actually does things."
You still have interface methods? I had problems navigating a new codebase and find the places "actually doing things". Some object was passed in somewhere which mysteriously implemented a one method interface defined on the spot in the other go file. I.e. the implementation had no relation to the interface which was obvious without a lot of searching and finding the right implementation.
Also passing in functions (callbacks?) all over the place is a little messy at least for a newbie. It was hard to find where the functions where called and at what point and how the program flowed.
(this is hard to explain but maybe somebody gets the point...)
edit: somebody else touched on what I also meant: " duck typing make refactoring and understanding new codebases error prone"
Also the modules and dependencies management surely is a joke? Pulling stuff from github willy-nilly? Quite bad in any case when compared to maven where you have a local repository with all the dependencies (so they don't change or disappear from the internet so that you can actually build your software 5 years later, exactly in the same way)
