I think the responses are very diverse throughout the region. Got example, in Karachi protestors gathered outside a consulate https://apnews.com/article/pakistan-protesters-attacked-us-c...
But inside Tehran (and in my neighborhood of D.C.) there have been celebrations https://www.nytimes.com/2026/02/28/world/middleeast/iran-kha...

I think this is a good point, there is evidence (even with strict censorship controls in place) that people inside the country are celebrating https://www.nytimes.com/2026/02/28/world/middleeast/iran-kha...

Love that it is in NC! Though, I'm confused who this is for. Is it for genomics data scientists mainly or is it general compute (I would also compare with hetzner and the other clouds if you are going the general compute method). If genomics or data scientists is the main audience, is this going to grow to be more collab notebook plug and play? Very cool and wish you the best!

At the end of the article:
> Update 9/1/2025 11:11 a.m. ET: 40-minutes of footage of Star Wars Outlaws running on Switch 2 in docked mode has seemingly leaked ahead of launch. What’s shown looks decent enough compared to what was described of the PAX West demo running in handheld mode
I appreciate it when publications include corrections at the end of their articles. Even though I don't own a Switch, I enjoyed the piece, and I believe the main point about running AAA games on hardware below the recommended specifications still holds true.

This may be because LanceDB is the most attractive with a price point of standard S3 storage ($0.023/GB vs $0.06/GB). I also like that Lancedb works with S3 compatible stores, such as Backblaze B2 which is even cheaper (~70% cheaper).

This response comes across as unnecessarily toxic and quip-y, which is a shame because there's real substance here. The author clearly understands database design, referencing concepts like normal forms and Boyce-Codd Normal Form (BCNF). Even if I don't agree with the conclusion, I have to respect anyone who takes the time to lay out their argument. Challenging ideas are what help our community grow.

That is not what the BBC link says (text copied below. including their weird British spelling of "recognisable"). It's seems much more light hearted and funny than what you are portraying.
> German Navy blasts out Darth Vader theme on Thames
Londoners spotted this ship on the Thames near Tower Bridge, playing the iconic Imperial March theme from the Star Wars trilogies, otherwise recognisable as the Darth Vader music.
But it wasn’t coming from a galaxy far, far away - it was a German Navy ship, in London for training and a supply stop.
A spokesperson from the German Navy told the BBC the music had "no deeper message" and "the commander can choose the music freely".

Are they shutting down CodeCatalyst as well? Or are they just forcing new customers over to CodeCatalyst? It’s weird (for Amazon) they recommend Github and Gitlab over an AWS alternative if they are shifting people over to CodeCatalyst

A good note for bitwarden is that it has a self hosting open source version, vaultwarden that is easy to switch to: https://github.com/dani-garcia/vaultwarden I see this as downside protection, as I can quickly migrate if I disagree with bitwarden's direction with minimal changes to my clients.
I do worry about VC pressure on Bitwarden for hypergrowth. However in my personal opinion, the benefits outweigh the cons (for now).
