That's the definition of judging a book by its cover. Maybe they don't care about spending money on design and just want to focus on the food they serve, you'll never know. I would also probably be less inclined to enter a restaurant if I saw generated images advertising the food as opposed to real ones. But I would never ever dare put a one star review without even having been a customer there in the first place. I would remove 2 stars at most from a 5 stars review, if the food and service was impeccable but they ruined the settings with AI.

Are you sure those are the correct figures? That's a 4$ win in your favor if you don't use any of the deposited money and cash it back one year later.

Same. I am getting crazy good value from Claude at work, on both scientific applications and deployment environments.

There is one caveat, and that is you have to give the model well thought out constraints to guide it properly, and absolutely take the time to read all the thinking it's doing and not be afraid to stop the process whenever things go sideway.

People who just let Claude roam free on their repository deserve everything they end up with.

I already have to log to their website with 2 factor authentification. I had to walk and physically present my id card, install the numerical identity app. That should be enough.

Also, apart from reuploading IDs, they ask for information such as age, name, place of living, and a thousand more things that they already have and doesn't need to be provided to establish that you really are you.

I find it especially ironic that they would leak all my data, given the fact that they would ask of me to forward them every piece of id imaginable whenever I needed to forge or amend a new one (when adding a mention on my driver's license for instance).

Like they didn't have access to it anyway.

Really nice. My mother is an applied Physics teacher, and she told me they had a hard time at work figuring out how they could connect their teaching material to LLM in a relevant way. This should be useful to her.

Coincidently, Claude Code appears to be down right now (in Europe West at least).

Everytime I hear of something X Azure announcement, that something just seem to break right away.

I know correlation is not causation, but my opinion of Azure is already too damn low to not link those two events.

I found now was a good time to build that NAS I wanted to have a long time ago, and the first thing I installed on it was a Navidrome server so I could listen to my curated music everywhere.

Hopefully we're entering the era of people ditching megacorp craps and switching to personal cloud solutions.

YouTube will be very hard to replace though.

Does this only affect money invested after June 15th, or does this also devalues money invested before this date? If you don't invest anymore money in the index during the interim rebalancing period refered to by the author, then one should be alright. Right? It's really expensive to get all your marbles out, I'd rather not do it if I don't have to.

The meaning is not in the numbers themselves, but in how they each relate to one another.

Also those are not mere numbers here, but vectors. Dimensionality and orthogonality is key to define complex relationships.
