I'm not totally convinced that models are fungible, the claudes/gpts/Gemini all have pretty individual feels when you're working with them. I wouldn't be surprised if the approaches don't scale or even work the same in a poly model setup

More and more, people are just gonna do it. After all, the same statement is true if employees, and they're rapidly becoming less trustworthy that frontier models.

Averages aren't super useful for data centers, since local costs vary so much, and because siting decisions are often made around power generation (ie, they're deliberately getting lower than average costs).

I would say that this indicates that the decision makers adequately appreciated the possibility this wouldn't work. This is generally what a high risk plan is.

Stuff like https://www.hadrian.co/ is pretty neat, but the whole "electric stack" is hopelessly Chinese from this perspective- batteries, motors, all kinds of small and crucial electrical things- and critical minerals, like Gallium for radar.
