Actually you overestimate the general public's ability to discern what's real or not. On top of that, most people don't even care if it's real. This is exactly why Trump won.

Example: if a gen ai vid of a politician doing some crazy crime came out. Even if it were proven fake, people would start questioning everything and still act as if the politician were guilty

lol. I think you live in your little bubble. I’ve used Twitter for a while, there were always a wide range of opinions. Only difference now is that there are extremist opinions posts amplified. And Elon sets the tone. When you have the owner of a site posting race science, it clearly shows the site is one sided. If you like it, you like it but I think Twitter is clearly dying. I think social media in general will hit a downturn over the next decade

Groupthink is every social media site. You go on Twitter, it's primarily right wing group think. Go on certain forums, same thing. Even Hackernews is extremely slanted on topics and it's even funnier because some of you folks are clueless on the topics at hand.

It isn't lmao. I've always seen people say pretty much what they want on Twitter unless it was super bigoted and even those posts were allowed at times. The only different is nazi content and that's a fact. Hence the reason why most of the banned users with the most followers were literally nazi/extremist users.

Hi,

I work at a huge software company and they sell massive software to organizations, which take absolutely forever to implement. Consultants, which are often times the big names like Deloite, Accenture, etc overcharge and intentionally stretch out projects. I was thinking of an idea for a startup or maybe even a new type of consultant that utilizes gen ai to automate most of the implementation process. I would love a world where these projects that take 5 years to implement and still go wrong can be cut down to much less time with the use of AI. Anybody have any thoughts or recommendations?

Aka a bs startup lying. They claim to have over 200 million ARR for a global payroll solution. This isn’t particularly new or revolutionary. Do y’all think the numbers are fake or is Deel the real deal?

Going from 5 million ARR to 200 million ARR in like 2-3 years for a payroll company, doesn’t sound realistic to me especially for an smb target market
