Why should I use Ghostty over iTerm2? I don't care about fancy fonts, iTerm2 speed (for me) is plenty (just tested against 1.4 -- don't see noticeable difference on MBP M1) and I do like to tweak some options/settings (and was just mildly annoyed when hitting `cmd+,` opened my default text editor...

I loath Amazon because of its UI.

In Poland we have Allegro and 99,9% of sellers basically ships on the same day (for orders before 15:00) and it arrives next day.

This basically applies to most of the online stores in Poland…

Well, right now each member state already has its mobile payment scheme which they started colaboration under EMP and Spanish Bizum and Italian Bancomat already support trans-border transfers with more to come.

Hmm... I thought as much but then I learned that handling cash does incure non-zero cost (actually it's quite expensive and annoying to boot).

All in all after this change I saw adoption of card payments skyrocket and it's possible to pay virtually everywhere (even in the weirdes most rural places)

EU forced MC/Visa to slash their intercharge fees to max 0.20%... that's why there is no "reward" program over here because we are not being ripped off constantly :)

While the revenue is up so is the cost... and looking at what they've been doing I'd argue they are just burning money on questionable investments.

Yes, I HATE their new UIs (we are on the second take where we had NewUI and now it's Islands)... ClassicUI has almost 1m downloads because it makes the UI _sane_ and while I renewed my subscription for AllPack this year I've done it griting my teath... will see next year if I'll stick…

Other languages do have it ("estadosunidos", "estadounidense").

Just like "Usanians" like to appropriate the name the rest of the world should to the same and start using "Usania" which is way more adequate…
