A lot of these recommendations seem prudent. I especially like the idea of POSSE for using social media without actually using it (every time you open a site to post is an opportunity to be ensnared). Completely stripping the browser from your smartphone is a bit extreme and excessive for me, but doesn't invalidate the other reccomendations.

You raise a good point, which is that autonomous coding needs to be benchmarked on designs/challenges where the exact thing being built isn't part of the model's training set.

Writing human-language and programming indeed have a lot of skill transfer. They're both writing after all. But most importantly it's the ability to clearly communicate ideas and organize thoughts.

Finally, thanks to your comment, I understand the whiteboard interview. I couldn't for the life of me understand how hiring for software engineers was conducted in such a ridiculous manner (i.e. not anything like the job you are going to do), but like someone else said on here, it's a dance that proves your proficiency to learn technical concepts.

Imagine k8s but all the core features you need to run MMO-level apps are the equivalent of simple Unity Engine functions like Instantiate(gameObject). I want. Maybe I help create?

The listserver at the bottom of the article (k-12sd@sysdyn.mit.edu) doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have the correct address, or is it an MIT only thing?
