Or one could look it the the other way around: the 50 countries, more or less, (Europe + US), that fight with the hands of Ukraine, as proxies, still haven't been able to defeat ONE Russia.
And despite of 23k of sanctions they've imposed on Russia, which is the absolute record by a looooooong margin on its own.

Europe is pretty much in war economy now, they have no choice but to escalate and invade Russia as NATO. They have no chance of winning, but that never matters to crazy people.
And you conveniently forgot that Hitler was from Germany - Europe. And he was the one who invaded USSR - Russia. Not the other way around. As well as he, indirectly, invaded China - by the help of Japan.

If I go find "UK" without "the" in any English newspaper or article, will you send me $10k?
If there exists a rule that allows an omission of "the" for "UK" in certain context, will you send me $20k on top?
If you aren't able to prove that in this context I speak formally rather than informally, and in the latter "the" may sometimes be omitted, will you send me $30k on top?

The man has forgotten that those LLM models don't grow on trees in nature, freely available to anyone.
Don't be a sucker - go create your own model, train it for hundreds of millions of dollars. With your own money - you aren't a sucker to borrow from anyone. Fine tune a model, train it again.
Only then, when and if you're get done, will you be able to claim "I'm not sucker, I don't rent anything. And you shouldn't too!".
Until then, no model is yours. Even if you run it locally, you're inevitably engaging in renting it, if not for money directly, then for knowledge and expertise of those large companies. The ones that've created them for you. With an option to utilize them for free, locally.

1) No. 1 spam email once per... 2-3 weeks. And Mox, which I run, comes without any spam filter.
2) Perhaps sometimes. The Mail-tester shows, nonetheless, a rate close to 10.
6-7 years or running my own email
And now compare this to one downside of the likes of gmail: one day you may get locked out of your email.
