its easy:
- Udssr did something wrong its very useful to this day for the us.
- Fukushima was done by an "western orientated" country.
- The fact that people say that chernobyl was worse then Fukushima is them not thinking. Fukushima was build in a area were this kind of accidents happen all the time.
- If Fukushima happened in China you would have more netflix tv shows about it how bad it was handled.
- Remember western media is going through an American lens. Just watch any main stream holy wood movie about war and think of it as US propaganda and you will see it everywhere

Oh I have seen this story and was the one who caused this story when I was younger.
In a lot of cases the "new guy" thinks its an easy software and does it on his free time and thinks he did a great job.
In reality the specs are never 100% done correctly. The "new guy" misses some edge cases everybody but him knew because its just company knowledge. A lot of info in the specs was missing since they are not complete and so on.
This over the weekend never works in the long run. The ORM worked for all the happy path and written down cases but then you have cases were the ORM just is not good enough or fast. So you start to add strange code to work around the ORM. The same for the web framework or the validation lib.
To me the author of this comment sounds like the typical "Freelancer" coming in into a company knowing everything better then all the people and then leaving after a few months and now everybody else has to deal with his code.

The premium version of Teams would be one with:
- Better UX. When working with Slack/Discord or any other of these apps. Going back to Teams is painful.
- That does not drain my Iphones battery as much as watching 4 hours on youtube.

Can we add an "in the US" at the end?
Since for EU countries this is not true.
I'm living in sweden now and lived in germany and poland.
Plant-based meat products are growing in numbers and the price of meat is going so high that its cheaper to buy the plant-based one.
In Germany one producer of meat sausages want to turn 100% plant based[1].
I will not go into the whats better and not for you. Since this highly depends on not just one food category. You can eat "Vegan" and still eat unhealthy and you can eat meat and be healthy. The body is to complex on just saying is something is healthy or unhealthy on one factor.
[1] https://www.ruegenwalder.de/vegetarische-und-vegane-produkte

I try to not install specific version but always the latest.
Also to not install something that needs sudo.
On windows I used Scoop. I installed fonts through scoop and to update them I first needed to uninstall them and then install them again.
But sure in the end nothing is better then pacman with aur.

I still have a razer blade for gaming but i mostly use my nintendo switch these days. Mostly playing "DorfRomantik" and "Mini Motorways"
As a side project I work on a flutter mobile app.
So one of the best features of MacOS is how easy you can simulate an Iphone compared to android. I wanted to setup a Pixel 6 with google play services and I for the love of god could not figure out how to do that. So I needed to go with the Pixel 4.

Yes I looked at that but the software support is not there yet.
Also for the price the performance you get is questionable at best even compared to a m1.
I'm also a burned child by the build quality in the last years by lenovo. My t480s was at best good. But not as good as a macbook or a asus zenbook

I still use Windows for gaming because you have to even the support under linux/macos got way better.
For development I tried WSL and WSL2 both have problems.
Last time I installed WSL2 with ubuntu on it I could not figure out how to connect ubuntu to the internet because of some strange DNS setup in WSL.
Windows Terminal is a good way forward but CMD is not as good as bash or zsh.
Scoop/WinGet/ect are nice but way way way behind brew or pacman.
I could install npm/node/git/etc directly on windows but its just so much more painful to setup and keep it running
Windows and its legacy/new/newNew/window11 ui is just to messy for me.

To be honest I stopped caring what OS I'm running as long as it is not windows.
I have a terminal open 99% of the time and I almost never open finder or Gnome Files.
pacman or brew? really I don't care. Both install what I want with one command.
VS Code is basically the same on every system.
Gnome/KDE/MacOS all of them have there pros and cons.
Right now what wins for me is the apple silicon. I can develop stuff without a fan running for 8 hours.
Once Framework laptops come with a ARM Laptop were I can run gnome I can consider to switch again.

On of the things with vim/neovim for me what was a deal breaker is that you could not turn off/on LSP's for different projects. So neovim got slow for me.
I also don't wanted to copy my config for each project.
Does Helix have a solution for this?
