Isn't this a matter of regulation? I'm not sure about US, but in EU you have old houses/buildings that are protected. Sure, you can buy them, but you can't modify or destroy them (being cultural heritage).

There is a threshold how bad it can be. With airbnb they happen to exceed that threshold.

Their website is so bloated that I cannot use it on Firefox mobile. It simply did not load within 60 seconds.

Sorry, don't blame me for spending my money somewhere else.

Other sites are blocking VPN's as well. It's a contineous hassle of turning VPN on and off.

It feels like you are a third class citizen.

How do I compare the peering capabilities of different ISP's? Assuming tier 1 ISP's are not available in my geographic location.

I don't care about fancy numbers, I care about high quality peering.

I'd rather have a stable 50Mbit than 1Gbit and 0.5Mbit international peering with packet loss.

I think we need one brave country to ban IPv4.

We are missing out on so much network innovation due to the lack of IPv6 support. This innovation is increasingly needed to become less dependent on big tech.

Isn't it amazing that we have platform independent technology that allows you to call someone _on their IP address_? Or have someone start selling delivery pizza's independently by running an app that listens on port 80? What about a garage door opener that responds within 30ms instead of going through several cloud services first?

Not until we have a 100% IPv6 adoption rate!

I use them on a daily basis, but I have my doubts about the health aspects. They have literal rough edges. I had to throw 10% away because I hurt myself while cleaning them and they are hard to clean.

On the streets I saw some buildup dirtiness behind those edges directly below the part you touch with your mouth.

Moreover, they are cooled down during the production process in the ashes, so they are very dirty when delivered.
