>What exactly is your objection?
Feels based anti-science.
>HPV vaccine is not risk free
No vaccine is "risk free." The entire point is that vaccinations overall have less risks than you would suffer if you had gotten the disease it's helping safeguard against.

Yep, been there. It's baffling just how strange Gnome devs' priorities are, not to mention how they interact with the community. Rest of the DEs seem to be more "Okay, community said this, let's try this with x or y." Gnome is more "We know best, no we're not listening to you" from all the interactions I've had with gnome devs.
"Can you tell me a use case for this?" for a feature for example present in every other DE. I forgot what the exact context was or I'd pull up the ticket. Something to do with the sorting of files from the header of the sort display or some such.

>people do not, empirically
Words and phrases have meaning. That's not what empirical evidence means.
Because there's only single manufacturer of plant based products, right? and it's not as if meat isn't heavily subsidized by the government otherwise. Pfft.
And you know why plant based milk is shelved next to milk? SO PEOPLE CAN FIND IT. People don't want to go to another specialized aisle just to find products.

>sorry there's a tp tube up your ass about tp quality
Hm, unsure why the hostility there. My quip wasn't nearly this hostile.
>I use 2-ply and 3 squares at most.
Yes, that's not bad quality TP lol, and not what I was talking about. You ever seen TP in universities/restrooms for supermarkets etc? That's what I am talking about. Further, you ignored the points about using toilet paper as tissue paper, which is what a lot of people in bathrooms also do.

>if you spray your asshole first, the quality of the tp does not really matter.
Great, go rub a TP that feels like sand paper on your anus even to dry it off then. See how it goes.
(Quality of TP still matters, even for usage as minor wipes/tissue paper etc)

I always go read a novel or two of Iain M Banks' Culture series whenever I want a Utopian future. It hits everything I want fairly perfectly.
Honestly there are way too many dystopian "omg this tech will do this" media as opposed to "this tech will do this good thing."

Iain M Banks - Culture novels.
Strong warning: Start with either book 2 (Player of Games) or book...7, Look to Windward.
I strongly suggest you skip book 1 until you're comfortable with the rest of the books that focus on the Culture itself, and not some weird offshoot story that barely involves the Culture.

Oh please.
Funding you disagree with isn't "waste, fraud, abuse." I don't think there's a single citizen anywhere that agrees with everything the government spends on.
Musk has yet to provide a single line item that does so. If "no need for FOIA, everything is transparent" is so transparent, let us have every single line item, why he thinks it should be removed (the real reason, not "WFA"), and a method to submitting public comments that he then goes over and actually makes decisions like how rule changes are proposed, commented, and finalized in federal registers.
"I dun wan it" isn't a good enough reason.

I'm currently building a local LLM (multiple threads - one for each sensor suite) sensor array for more proactive needs. I don't want it else conditions, and I don't want to turn lights on when I do x or y. The sensors are cheap and plenty on AliExpress and all it takes is an esp32-s3 or similar.
A smart home should predict my needs dynamically rather than do stuff based on predefined conditions and is more than just "turn living room red."
