This is exactly the kind of work where decades of experience still matters.Modern stacks reward speed,but legacy systems reward judgment and cautions.Not exciting but often valueable.

The problem isn't pipe, it's the default to blind trust.People will happily audit a PR but won't spend 5 seconds reading a script they're about to run as root.

I's argue no specific tool is future proof.The real skill is getting comfortable learning new tools fast and discarding old ones without attachment.

I just stop tryig to 'keep up with AI' and started doing my own thing again.Way less stressful way more productive.

I feel like we're moving toward needing a standard for this. "Level of AI involvement" could easily become part of project documentation norms.

Copying a product is easy.But copying timing,insight,execution speed,and user understanding is what actually matters, and that's what more people miss.

Maybe instead of refunds,improving accuracy metrics and giving users better or control feedback loops would solve this more efficiently.

You don't have to go Tiktok or Instagram. Even email, niche forums or tiny add test can tell you a lot.You want someone who's small and iterating.
