When joining a new company, I want to understand what’s working well and where the gaps are, from the perspective of my manager, peers, and leadership.

What are the best questions you’ve asked (or wish you had asked) to uncover:

- The team's strengths

- Weaknesses or blind spots

- Communication styles

- How decisions actually get made

- How you can help early on

- What success looks like

I’m especially interested in questions that go beyond the surface-level onboarding process and reveal real insights. I understand this takes time and the first 1:1s might not be as efficient while you get to know the team and them you.

It is if their goal is to grow profits. The big fish (where the money is) will demand certain features and thus products like this will provide it.

it could be that this is public research vs private?

It's quite exciting to see this scientific discovery having such widespread use, don't you agree? The research is around the [NKG7 protein][1], not sure what Moderna targets.

It's probably a mix of both. Surprisingly (to me), not many were able to break the sub 4min mile immediately after Bannister broke that record - Landy was the second to break the mark a month or so after but he was already working towards it. I read in the 20 year span after the record, only 300 runners were able to match the sub 4 feat.

I've heard a very similar story but with a photo class at UF from James Clear's Atomic Habits. Still, very interesting outcome, although I can't say I was surprised based on the odds. Thanks for the share.

Impossible meat did release a 2.0 version to their patties, I didn't get a metallic aftertaste.

well, the product being sold is not your typical grind beans and other ingredients made into a patty. This is a genetically modified protein made to feel and taste like meat. The R&D that went into making this happen is incredibly complex. I'm confident the price will go down just as with everything else.

My last Feria del Libro was over 12 years ago and it was great! I got American Psycho, a Nightcrawler comic book, and thriller novel (now or never by elizabeth adler). Perhaps this was due to my ignorance as a young Cuban and not being able to learn about what was going on in the literary world outside the country. The Cuban Government censors many things, in my opinion, I wanted to know what specific works the author thinks should be available.

every time i look at AMD's stock price from last year to today i really wished i'd been wiser with my money. they've performed excellent and it's showing, this will likely be huge.
