I think they suffer from universal problem that the job doesn't pay for housing anywhere within reasonable commute to the job, assuming that it's even possible to rent any housing at all.

Intelligent skilled people had been ghosted for so long that they don't bother applying anymore. Now the economy is just tree shaking, watching who will fall down. Personally I'm still irritated by the blockchain bubble and haven't even noticed when AI made me unemployable. Once in an airplane I overheard two kids from two different countries. One's job was to figure out where AI can be used, other's job was to figure out where AI can be used.

If you don't fall through the cracks because of cronyism, corruption, or neglect it's somehow helpful with mainstream diseases. That's the level of healthcare.

Life expectancy in these regions is mostly from diet, lifestyle, avoiding wars, and at times from avoiding the healthcare actually.

Globally ranks along Poland, Belarus, and Albania. Having first hand experience in one of them the only advantage of healthcare from this league is "it somehow exists, sometimes".

Neither is normal - mere 8GB of RAM in a new computer, nor website consuming over 1GB.

In a defense of the latter case - there are many decisive people in the company explicitly demanding the website to be so bloated and overengineered.

I don't understand how can you trust these foreigners-oriented clinics in counties with otherwise miserable healthcare. These clinics are not an exception from dysfunctional healthcare system, they are the very result and fruit of it.

Backblaze increased the price per TB (we should be getting emails "ten times the storage for the same price"). Reliable VPS for 5EUR/month are basically gone. Affordability of assembling own PC is back to maybe late 1990s.

Tear it all down.

In my country during covid banks virtually eliminated the cash. There is maybe one branch left per major city dealing with cash. The few remaining branches are "lounge areas" where they tell you to set up their app and do everything by yourself.

Jeez Israel is going at full speed... recently when attempting to create an account at one of the brokers based in EU I was redirected to do a "friendly 3D full face scan" with another Israeli company - Au10tix. I noped out of the website instantly.

Looking further their parent company is doing "aviation security services", oh how convenient!

I'm absolutely not trolling, I'm deadly serious. Good luck decrypting Latin with no experience and a paper dictionary. Even nowadays it's 100 EUR for 5 minutes of "just asking" a doctor. Back then it was an envelope with equivalent.

Medical diagnosis in Latin within Polish healthcare system is useless. You'll barely receive any help within this system anyways, and certainly not receive any constructive help outside of it. As a bonus in the pre-internet era, nobody around knew the cause of death because it was written down in some fossil language. Latin language was used as some kind of legalization of incompetence and corruption.
