Most armies in Europe, especially in post-Communist part of it, are nepotist corrupted structures. People go there for tax and housing benefits and early retirement. They are not even particularly fit, skilled, or trained to fight with an invader. Especially in these countries men aged 18-45 have absolutely nothing to fight for.

I live in a country from the bottom of this ranking and can confirm from personal experience. Nothing works, people die, and still it's very expensive.

EU politicians are indeed "weak". Their term of office is four years-ish. They want career afterwards. They want real estate. They want their kids to study and live in expensive EU cities. They really don't care what political decisions it takes to achieve all these.

But then how will you gain new territory for oligarchs and billionaires? Are you really ready for the sacrifice that their next yacht will be smaller instead of larger? Do you really want them to withdraw from London's real estate market?

In my anecdotal experience. Literally hours before Air Canada plane crash on American airport I was flying from a Canadian airport. The agents after telling me to enter full body scanner with my hands up prevented an inexcusable violation - me bringing on board 0.33l unopened sealed bottle of still water, which funnily I got on board of a plane on previous flight. You got the risk management all wrong, all over, everywhere.

Still, Canadian airport security is probably nicer than TSA.

They were simply more attractive to homo sapiens females because of more chest hair, muscles, and better defined jawline.
