Slightly off topic:
I recall as a youngin watching Gary Kildall on the Computer Chronicles. I was always fascinated by what people were doing with computers. I know it is nostalgia and there's infinitely more to learn about today than there was then, but I do miss that era of computing.

> Every time I cook, my wife about has a panic attack watching me fumble around, forgetting things, looking for things, oh god that's burning, etc.
I do all the cooking for our family because I'm pretty good at it. A few things that help me. First is mise en place. I read through the recipe and lay out all the ingredients and prep them (dice, chop, measure, etc). The next thing is I read through the recipe several times and picture myself following the directions. This greatly helps me determine my timing for everything.
Not trying to fix you. Just thought I'd throw out some ideas in case you wanna try.
EDIT: Forgot to mention music. I can't code to music with lyrics. Nor can I code to music that has too many sharp edges. If it has a nice, smooth, consistent beat, I can really get some stuff done, though.

> That would imply that they currently do so, or used to in the past. I won't say that Republicans want me dead because I'm a working-class, autistic, openly bisexual atheist and the child of an interracial marriage, but I think it's fair to say that the vast majority of them wouldn't so much as piss on me if I was on fire.
Good grief, you get hit by nearly all the Fucker Carlson hate spew.
Keep your head low... and stay safe.

> What will happen when those Republicans - the same people who you are calling "hateful and paranoid" - win the next two election rounds which they seem to be poised to do?
Welcome to the Authoritarian States of America.
That's not hyperbole. It's coming. When SCOTUS rules on "independent legislature" the way everyone expects them to, it's all over.
Hope you enjoyed it while it lasted.

Laser printers (color ones) are (were?) required to have some sort of built in imperfection because they were too good and could be used for counterfeiting.
I wouldn't be surprised if this eventually is a requirement for cameras, you know, just because law enforcement wants it.
