I knew the model via Replicate, but no idea they had the canvas. Looks great!

Hey!
I saw this post a few days ago on HN [1] about the new Nano Banana model and decided to play with it. It's incredible (Mostly for editing IMHO)! The thing is, Google AI Studio is great for chat... for images, the UI is not ideal.
So I decided to make my own thing: an infinite canvas for AI image exploration. :)
Right now it only supports Nano Banana, but the plan is to include OpenAI, Replicate, and fal.ai this week!
Would love to hear any feedback. Feel free to propose changes as well!
Github: https://github.com/za01br/koubou
[1] https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45215869

I’m building a platform to help homebuyers with personalized checklists for house tours. Even after doing tons of research and planning for my own purchase, I still missed a bunch of things, only to find out during the inspection. But by then, I was already emotionally committed and just wanted to close. It’s a super specific problem, but it’s coming along. :)

You probably know this, but gemini is great to generate transcripts. I did a quick browser extension for that: https://github.com/za01br/yt-subtitle-extension
Congrats on the launch!

Howdy folks! Long-time lurker here—finally decided to start participating more.
TIL the difference between closed captions and subtitles! While this little project currently leans more toward closed captions, the goal is to eventually support subtitles as well.
I’ve been playing around with LLMs for a while, but hadn’t built anything useful—until now.
I love watching YouTube videos that don’t have captions or subtitles, and with the recent Gemini 2.5 Pro experimental release (which can access full video content), I figured… why not make a browser extension to generate them?
So I did.
I used a mix of ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to build it—and honestly, they wrote around 80% of the code. It’s wild how much faster it is to ship something useful now compared to when I built my first extension (which took me days).
The extension is still in its early stages, but it works. You’ll need to bring your own API key. Feedback is very welcome, and I’ll keep improving it!

Congrats, looks promising!
1. Is it possible to create custom endpoints? I see that several endpoints are created when running “mastra dev”.
2. Related to previous question, since this is node based, is it possible to support websockets?

Howdy everyone. Long time lurking around here. I always wanted to learn about mobile development, and decided to build something that I would actually use as everyone always suggests.
As of right now, it's a simple Hacker News reader. The main feature is the ability to read the article/website together with the comments (none of the current HN apps have that, and I "stole" this idea from the Artifact app, which combined the news with comments ). I also wanted to keep the colors/theme in sync with the official HN.
I did several small projects over the past few years, but after deploying them, that was it. I never used them.
This one I've been using daily for the past month or so, and the number of bugs or things that were bothering me were incredibly high! It's been a good experience fixing and seeing it quickly with OTA updates.
Working to fix all the spaghetti code and open-source it. I am also adding a couple more features.
Android is ready but needs 20 testers. Let me know if you are interested. :D
