<p>Yes. Similarly, safety needs to be there even after the aging of materials over product lifetime. So basically when aging is the only variable  to be considered end of life date is the worst case scenario.</p>

<p>It's also good practice to chose an appropriate language for the problem. It's not premature optimisation to use a compiled language instead of Python when you already know the code will run thousands of times in a loop because of the application and use a lot of electrical energy in the process.</p>
