It depends on what you call "non-trivial". I found answers on how to circumvent dumb macos bugs on Apple forums at least twice in the last 6 months. One related to displays, I was about to return a new USB-C monitor which wouldn't turn on. A silly issue, but it's a bug on my book, I wouldn't find the answer on the docs.

Yep. After years of frustration, trying every possible way to fix it, uncountable hours of searching, I asked Claude about it: "just subscribe to an external service". This is ridiculous, Android's parental controls work flawlessly. If I knew that beforehand, I would never had got my kid an iOS device.

This article is wrong at its core.
> The study was commissioned by Brazilian auto industry group Anfavea
Nothing that comes from Anfavea is trustable. It's a crooked association of a few automakers that will try to push the government to give every subside to them and tax the other ones to the brim.
The article tries to justify Ford Mexican cars low sales numbers in Brazil using every flawed argument Anfavea uses. For instance:
> On Thursday, Ford launched its new Bronco Sport SUV in Brazil. Made in Mexico, it is exported to the U.S. where it starts at $26,820. In Brazil, where per capita income is much lower, Ford said the Mexican-made car will retail for $48,000.
The key point here is "starts". Ford only imports top of the line cars in Brazil. I just searched Bronco Sport prices in Mexico in 2021, they started at $30900 up to $40000+. That $40000+ version was (still is) the only one sold in Brazil. 20% over the retail price in Mexico is not great, but far away from what the article tries to imply.

I also had the same experience, but I could only make them restart during the night. So I wrote a monitor to check if any of the Pis lost USB before restarting.
When our business grew, even restarting every night, we would get one or two lost USB warnings every day. One day I didn't receive any warnings. I was really happy, I had fix the issue! Three days later a client calls screaming the service is not working for two whole days and we did nothing. After getting every Pi restarted, I went to check the monitor. Shut down. I asked my business partner about it. "The alarms made me anxious, so I decided to shut down the monitor".
Obviously I sold my shares and never looked back.

Yes, it does. For passwords or any other field an app defines as sensitive, Apple keyboard takes over and you can't change from it, but other than that you share every keystroke with Google. Your only option is disabling location.

Interesting enough, where I live we also can have domestic workers without being filthy rich. But we've seen the exactly opposite problem: people trust a single product for everything and will use the least amount of it because "it's good enough". The current person working at our place uses dish detergent to clean the entire house unless we tell her everyday to not do it. The previous one used bleach, and ruined most of our bath and hand towels.
