I had seen Karpathy 's work - https://karpathy.github.io/2026/02/12/microgpt/ - but found it still too demanding to get it

Here is a thing. If you are okay with HTML, you might want to write an article using GitHub pages instead of any blogging platform (e.g. medium.com) The only constrains then become your skills instead of what your chosen platform has decided to support (typically embedding videos, code snippets, ...)

That website really talks to me. Some people might click and click away. Others, like me, will feel like being in your shoes. Because they are. Every 3/4 months I go and say hello to my mother and i see how she changes with age. No photos, but the same sense of ineluctability

I have similar memories. And I remember drawing similar conclusions. When children are little a little walk with Daddy was great. We used to walk about a whole mile for me to get a coffee and for her to get a fruit juice... and guess what ? on the way back it was bus time.

This project looks great. Occasionally I need to write a reg expr (JS developer) and I am not that good at it and I always end up googling around. I am thinking it would be much nicer if I could use rulex to generate my reg expr. But is that what it is supposed to be for ? cheers

Good luck, but (in my opinion) even the most dynamic open sources don't change rapidly enough to justify your tool.

I opened the link and I searched for the word "Simplicity" Found 0 of 0. I decided not to read it in order not to hurt my ego. I might not be an expert software designer as my number one item would have been "seek simplicity"
