i hate claude writing a lot, especially after opus 4.8 and it's even worse in 5. in many cases, it feels like playing whac-a-mole and you just can't get rid of all those obvious ai writing patterns.
why do you choose gemini? imo this is a fundamental problem of all frontier ai models.

Hi, I'd like to share a side project tldr.cafe that gives you quick summaries of Hacker News posts.
Just add tldr.cafe/ before any HN link, and you’ll get a neat digest of the content and discussion. For example:
https://tldr.cafe/https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41491...
https://tldr.cafe/https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41497...
https://tldr.cafe/https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41502...
It’s been super helpful for me when I want to catch up on posts without diving into every comment. Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

I wanted to share a side project I've been working on:
http://webpulse.today/review-waitlist
A tool that gathers genuine feedback on any product by analyzing discussions from Reddit and YouTube. It provides in-depth analysis results, please check examples below:
- Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses: http://webpulse.today/review-waitlist?u=Ray-Ban%20Meta%20Sma...
- Black Myth: Wukong: http://webpulse.today/review-waitlist?u=Black%20Myth:%20Wuko...
- Toyota GR86: http://webpulse.today/review-waitlist?u=Toyota%20GR86&f=y
- Llama 3.1: http://webpulse.today/review-waitlist?u=Llama%203.1&f=y
In today's world, it can be tough to find trustworthy reviews. Personally, I find myself relying more on Reddit and YouTube for authentic opinions, especially since search engines like Google are often cluttered with click-driven results and sensational headlines.
With that in mind, I built this tool to make it easier to access the kind of feedback I trust the most. It's still in beta, so please bear with me if it’s a bit slow or unstable. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or feedback you might have—your input will help me improve it.
Thanks for taking the time to check it out!

> I think that safe romantic and adult roleplay with a premium feel will be essential components towards the success of AI companionship in the long-run
I totally agree with this direction. I think it's a wrong decision for some companies to try to make it friendly to a wider age range, but in fact, actions / adult roleplay is what users really need. Who needs a virtual partner that only does safe chatting?
But honestly speaking, you need to make your service more performant. Responses are way too slow, so it's quite hard for me to get a sense of its quality.
I'm also curious about what underlying models are you using? Do you train / fine tune your own llms or it's on top of oai?
